I love quirky stories about odd people trying to fit in and find their place in this world, and those are the stories I'm going to tell.

Growing up, I felt different than my peers around me. I never really fit in, and I felt like I always struggled- whether that being my experience with ADHD, my odd sense of humor, or my need to march to the beat of my own drum.

I always felt like something was missing, and I tried to find that through the arts. I participated in almost every area of the arts that I could find; I painted, I wrote poetry, hell, I did theatre for 12 years! It wasn't until I was 15-years-old when I sat down to watch Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird that I discovered the power of movies. I felt like I was watching my own life on the screen. That was the moment that I decided I was going to be a filmmaker.
